Camp Rock Rated by Rebekah Walton

I rated it with an A-. This was a really cool movie. ( I only watched this movie because Demi Lovato was in it. I am a Sonny with a Chance Fan.) Most of the times, I skip the songs in musicals because I am not big on music if it isn’t background music. Although I think musicals are hilarious. (My sister who is an Austenite (Jane Austen fan)agrees with me that musicals are hilarious.) (I skipped most of the music in The Little Mermaid.) (That means half the movie.) I loved the storyline . For those who don’t know I will give a summary of this movie. Mitchie, a poor school girl who has only one friend, wants to go to a camp called Camp Rock. But her mom can only afford it if she agrees to cook for the camp and Mitchie helps in the kitchen. So, Mitchie agrees. When she goes to camp she lies to become part of the popular group and she becomes a music back up for Tess (the stuck up at camp). But she doesn’t really enjoy it. She runs into Shane Gray (a pop music star who is teaching classes at camp because of bad publicity.) quite a few times at camp and they become friends. Tess finds out that her mother is a cook and exposes it to everyone including Shane. He gets mad at Mitchie (he thinks she is trying to get close to him so she can use him.)and doesn’t believe anything she says is true. Then, before Final Jam Tess claims that Mitchie and Kathlryn (Mitchie’s only true friend there) stole her charm bracelet, and though they didn’t they can’t prove that they are innocent. The girls get band from entering The Final Jam competition. I won’t tell you what happens at the end for those who haven’t watched it and don’t me to spoil the ending for them.
Spoiler beware (don’t read if you haven’t watched the movie): The last part though slightly confuses me. How did Shane get over being mad at Mitchie when all she did to make up for it was sing a song? She didn’t say she wasn’t reporting to the magazine in that song. I don’t know, maybe once he found out it was her he didn’t care anymore. So, because I was slightly confused at the end, I rated it down to an A-. But I had a sudden thought when watching it for the third time, what if she sang a different song at the end, I mean she wrote a lot of songs, then he wouldn’t been able to find her and it would have been hilarious, and the movie would be pointless.
