Miranda Rated by Rebekah Walton

I gave the book by Grace Livingston Hill an A++. I love this book. This is actually the third book of a trilogy but I haven't read the other two books. I actually didn't know it was a trilogy till my Austenite(Jane Austen) sister told me. It is written so well, you never notice you are reading the third book. It is a story about a girl named MIranda in her early to late 20s by the end of the book, who is quite mischeiveous and who is the caretaker of the house of Mr. and Mrs. David Spalding. They have a young daughter by the name of Rose who MIranda adores. When a rich man gets married to his third wife, one of his sons(Nathan) by his 2nd wife turns to MIranda for comfort, (Well, sorta of, she finds him crying first, then they become friends.) Miranda is reminded of her childhood memories of Nathan's brother Alan who she saved from a horrible death at the age of 17. I will not tell you the rest in hopes you will read this book. It is full of humor, sadness and joy. Also, this book could be considered an historical fiction, so if you need to read a book and give a book report on a historical fiction I suggest reading MIranda. They really should make a movie out of this book. Please read this book.
