I have not personally read The Shack. But in general, I trust Mark Driscoll's opinion concerning whether or not certain books or movies are good to watch. So using the knowledge of what he thinks of the book, I rate this book with a D-. The worst possible rating on books. But here are the reasons summed up by me:
1. It disobeys the second commandment.
2. It says God the Father is now God the Mother.
3. It says that hierarchy does not exist within the Trinity.
