Narnia clips from Family Hour Product by Rebekah Walton

There were three clips that recently went on the Internet.
Clip#1:
(Note: They were taken off YouTube and the only way to view them is by buying the Family Hour product. I have left a link to how to get that product.)The first started with a scene of Eustace writing in a journal. All Narnia Fans know this was awesome to see. Eustace's diary, ah, such good times we had reading his diary in the book. Then Lucy's voice says,''We're home.'' Eustace quickly tucks the journal in his sock. The clip changes to Lucy looking at herself in the mirror. We only see this for a minute though. Anyway, I guess that is sorta of foreshadowing the spell that makes you beautiful beyond the lot of mortals. (Which by the way, does not make you look like Susan. They made that up. I am really disappointed that they made the beauty beyond the lot of mortals be Susan.) Then the scene changes to Edmund looking at the picture of a ship on the sea. (A.K.A. Dawn Treader)Edmund says to Lucy,''Hey, Lucy have you see this ship before? Lucy turns and looks at it and says,''It's very Narnian looking isn't it?'' (Hurrah, almost exact lines to the book!) I love this scene. Eustace comes into the room. ''There once were two orphans, who wasted their time believing in Narnia nursery rhymes.'' This line if taken literally can be quite scary. For instance, if they did kill off the Pevensies parents that means, they could cause a great friendship to occur between Lucy and MLG(Gael)because they have more in common. Edmund would be more vulnerable to certain things, I think what the White Witch should have said if this were the case, ''I can bring your parents back.'' (This is one of the reasons why I think it is unlikely that they are actually orphans.) If the White Witch said this instead of '' I can make you King and so much more,'' then I would consider this possibility. But for now I will assume this is not true. But if this were true: (Spoiler for Last Battle)Susan would no be as emotional if her parents died years before and her siblings, and Eustace and Jill died later. Where as if they die at the same time it would be worse for her. She couldn't be comforted for any of their deaths because she only had Alberta and Harold left. Who really wants to be left with them? Although, they could possibly change because of this. Susan would most likely go back to being a friend of Narnia when this occurred after much despair and emotional trauma. Edmund retorts back,''Don't you knock?'' This is yet another reason why I don't believe they are really orphans. Eustace says,''It's my house, I can do as I please, you are just guests.'' Then he goes and sits on Lucy's bed. Ed and Lucy turn back to the picture. Lucy says,''Edmund it looks like the water is actually moving.''Glumpuddle did think that way Lucy said it made her sound like she was insane. She sounds to me as if she only is imagining or dreaming or wishing it to be that way not like it is actually happening. If I didn't know better I'd said it wasn't happening at all.Eustace responds with,''See, that's what happens when you read all those novels and fairytales of yours.'' Edmund still looking at the picture resonds with,''There once was a boy named Eustace who read books, full of facts that were useless.'' Lucy smiles and then they continue to look at the picture. I think this is quite out of character for Lucy. I feel that she would have said something to the effect of,''Edmund!'' or ''Edmund,'' in a voice that you knew meant she was rebuking Ed for saying that. But for Edmund it is totally in character. ''People who read fairytales, are always the sort that become a hideous burden to people like me.'' replies Eustace. You can almost visibly see Edmund's back stiffen. If there was a time when you thought the words,''Oh, he shouldn't have said that...and he is going to get it,'' in the same sentence this would be it. You almost think Edmund is going to punch him.Edmund turns around and faces him. Eustace doesn't get the clue and continues talking. ''...who read books with real information.''he finishes. (I love Will Poulter as Eustace.) Edmund retort back with some of Eustace's own words in question form,''Hideous burden?'' It's like Edmund can't believe Eustace would say something that mean. Eustace gets off Lucy's bed and goes up to Edmund. ''I haven't seen you lift a finger since we got here,''replies Edmund approaching Eustace and making him back up. Then we see Lucy looking at the picture and water is coming out of the frame. (We all knew this would happen but I am still disapointed, they didn't do it like the book.) Then Lucy's hair starts to blow around. Eustace notices the painting and says,''What's going on here?'' They ignore him and Lucy says to Edmund, ''Edmund! The painting!.'' I love this moment. Then the water keeps coming in from the painting. Eustace goes to destory the painting and Edmund tries to stop him. The room floods and they go to Narnia. ( Overall, I enjoyed this clip and almost everyone but Lucy once wasn't in character. But I love the whole Eustace Edmund fight.)

Clip #2:
Eustace is walking along on a mountain like terrain. He sees gold but cannot reconize it and says,''What's that?'' then he falls down a side of the mountain like area to the gold. That is an intresting way to make him fall off the hill side. Plus, there is no grass at all here.He starts picking up as much gold as he can carry. YThey are following the book with this.He says,''I must be dead....I bet the others would like this.'' Then he sees a bracelet on a skeleton,he grabs it off the skeleton and says,''I guess you won't be needing that.'' He puts the bracelet on. That is beyond a little creepy. I always supposed in the book that the Lord Octesian became the other dragon that died. I am glad that he put the bracelet on but it seems weird that he would act that way around a skeleton.Then he turns and you see smoke. Then you see Edmund and Caspian looking for him. ''Eustace!'' They call. They see the gold and get down to the gold. Edmund finds Eustace's burnt shoes and says,''What could have happened to him?'' I still think that them finding a dead dragon would have beenbetter than finding Eustace's burnt shoes.Then he says,''I never should have left him.'' Caspian responds with a ,''I am sorry.'' We aren't quite sure whether he is saying this to the skeleton or Edmund.Okay, this doesn't make sense, Edmund didn't leave Eustace in the book. Eustace wandered off by himself because he didn't want to do work.Then back on the boat everyone sees fire shoot up from one of the mountains on the island.Lucy asks,''What's that?''MLG says,''Is it the volcano?'' Rhince replies with that is no Volcano.'' This sounds liker Rhince must be familiar with dragons. He knows it's not a volcano. (Okay, everyone else could tell it wasn't a volcano except MLG, but that's not the point.)He also, is afraid of it so he must have met dragons before. There must have been other dragons.Which is cool. But I am wondering why Rhince saw them.


Clip #3:
They are on the ship. Caspian says seeing the lillies, ''Aslan's Country we must be close.''Okay, Caspian if you can see Aslan's Country there is no point in saying you must be close.Caspian is rowing a boat carrying himself, Lucy, Eustace (now back in human form), Edmund and Reepicheep on the Sea of Lilies. If you exclude Caspian from on the boat this is almost exactly like the book scene.Edmund asks Eustace what it felt like when Aslan changed Eustace back into a human. Eustace says it "sort of hurt" but "it was good pain." Eustace then apologizes for his bad behavior. Edmund replies, "It’s OK, Eustace. You were a pretty good dragon." What is up with is? Have they reduced the talk Eustace had with Edmund after his undragoning to this? What a dumb line,''You were a pretty good dragon.'' Thank you Fox!(sarcastically.) How does this even capture how Eustace and Edmund related to each other in the book? This was the part I was most worried about in the film, and now they have ruined it. Lucy then says,''I wonder what Aslan's Country looks like? And Eustace responds with,''I can't imagine it really.''
This at least goes along with the theme of the longing for something. I don't really like this clip in general.
