I have been waiting forever it seems like for them to cast Ramandu's daughter. She is by far one of the most important characters in Voyage of the Dawn Treader and Silver Chair(her death is mentioned) and Last Battle who has no name. She goes by three titles:Ramandu's daughter, the Queen, and Lady.She is the wife of Caspian the daughter of a star and the whole reason Rillian found the Lady of the Green Kirtle. (The Lady of the Green Kirtle killed her.)I didn't expect them to cast her this soon. This could mean they have given her a bigger part than she plays in the book or it could mean that they are just doing her part now so they needed to cast her now.Although I am a Narnia Purist I will say it is not really bad if they give her a bigger part in the story. As long as they follow these guidelines it could be good. (Besides they ruined Prince Caspian with a romance in order to not make Caspian look fickle with women they have to give her a little more screen time.)Guidelines they must follow:
1. She should not fight in any case.(we never hear of her fighting.)
2. She must wear dresses and never men's clothes even as a disguise.
3. She should never take away someone else's lines or part in the story.(She can't be like Arwen in the Lord of the Rings movies. Everyone should get to do what they do in the book.)
4. She can not be proud or stuck up.(This will waste screen time.)
5. She does not give Caspian the White Witch's stone knife.(The knife the White Witch used to kill Aslan with.)
6. She does not show up in any of Caspian's dreams.
If they follow these basic guidelines I wouldn't mind giving her more screen time. I think Laura Bent is a perfect actress for it. She has blond hair and everything.
