Peter the Arrogant by Rebekah Walton ( beware there are Spoilers for The Last Battle)

High King Peter the Magnificent not Arrogant. I really did not like Peter’s character in the movie. In fact, I didn’t even want Peter to get to go back to Narnia because of his attitude. One, how did Peter even know they would ever be sent back? There is no logic in him thinking that one year is too long. Polly and Digory never went back to Narnia. (The Last Battle does not count because it was a New Narnia; they went back to the Old Narnia. They had to die first anyway.) Why would he think he was so highly favored? And I know they probably did not know about Polly and Digory yet, but still in the book they were surprised that they came back to Narnia. They did not expect to ever go back. Two, no High King of Narnia would ever act Arrogant.(remember Aslan said Once a King or Queen of Narnia, always a King or Queen of Narnia.) Did they really have to ruin his character? I mean it was his last trip to Old Narnia. When I read the books I wanted I brother like Peter, and my brother was sort of like Peter. Whereas when I watched Prince Caspian, I thought I never want anyone like him for a brother. Also, I wonder did Peter learn anything in Narnia? It seems to he got worse after he came back from Narnia. I really disliked Peter being Arrogant and so I should turn to pity Caspian, shouldn’t I? Well, no because he was just plain acting dumb. But that’s a different post.
