Well, three of them rated anyway. I will rate more later. The three versions are: 1995,2005, and 1985.
1995 was made by A&E and BBC. I rated with an A+. It was really close to the book and was 6 hours long. Colin Firth was a good Mr. Darcy. At the beginning I thought, he is an okay, Mr. Darcy but not as good as Matthew Macfayden(Mr. Darcy in 2005). But they have this part where he is fighting with swords(he looks really cool there.), to get over his love for Elizabeth. (And we all feel so sorry for him there.) And there is a part where he jumps in the pond. When he gets out and we see him with his hair dripping wet and his wet clothes, we say, whoa did I say okay? I meant perfect Mr. Darcy. Sometimes though, I would like to mention Jane looked like the white witch in LWW Walt Disney version. And Elizabeth was prettier than Jane.
Next 2005, was made by Universal Studios Home Entertainment. I rated with an A+. This version too was also really close to the book and there were parts not in 1995 version that were in the 2005 version and vice verse. I like Mr. Darcy. I thought each Mr. Darcy was good for his movie. It was 2 and half hours long.
Last of all, 1985, was made by just BBC it was a Tv version. This was 4 hours long. This one I rated B+. Some of the best parts were not in this movie or not done well. My sister after seeing the first 50 minutes or so, said,''There goes the whole story down the drain.'' She loves the book. She did not say that with any of the others. It made Mr. Darcy seem like a ghost most of the time and Elizabeth was not really pretty at all. Kitty seemed prettier than her.
So, these are all the versions I have watched. I recommend the 1995, and the 2005 and reading the book. I don't recommend the 1985 version.
