Dard's Inventors my story(now a book) by Rebekah Walton
You can now buy the book on:http://www.lulu.com/content/3894540
Or read it on:http://www.writerstoyou.com/books/readonline.asp?bookid=10219&locid=9802&title=Rebekah+Walton+-+The+Dard%92s+Inventors
Or email and ask me for it. My email is on my blogger profile. My first published book! Yeah! Depending on whether I have time or not, I might have another published soon. And don't lose hope I am now going to make a second book, of the Dards. Where Ben-Oni Dard marries Julia Dard. Remneber Julia from the 2nd and 1st chapter. Yep, tha's the same girl. Julia looked about 12 said the book she was 14 and Ben-Oni was 19 then. Now it is 4 years later, Julia is 18, and Ben-Oni is 23. They are 5 years apart. That's not bad and as for too young to get married, really it's not as bad as 13 or something. I knew someone who got married at 18.

Another Chapter
Chapter4:That First Morning
Ben-Oni was the first to wake up and soon diedeced to make breakfeat. Faith woke up to a horrible, but wonderful smell. I guess I should tell you Ben-Oni although good at most anything else is not good at cooking, he burns things. Faith thought that burnt pancakes always were the best. She loved the smell but most of us do not like burnt food so we would say a horrible smell. She got up and asked Ben-Oni if she could eat the burnt pancakes. (I think this is why her favorite big brother was Ben-Oni for quite some time, because he always burnt the food just in time for her to eat it.) Ben-Oni not wanting the others to know said yes and went to bed. Faith ate the pancakes and went back to sleep. Harry was the next to wake and woke to a horrible skunk smell. The black and white animal had sprayed all over his sleeping bag. He was too tired and did not get no matter how bad it smelled. Harry was a late riser. Two hours later, Harry woke for the second time and got up. He was going to make breakfast. When Lavender woke for the first everyone else was wide awake. She only woke up being too a late riser, because Faith picked flowers and put them near her nose. Harry never cooked pancakes until they were done. So, everyone had to cook them again once Harry gave them to everyone on plates. All except Ben-Oni who had Lavender cook his as well as hers. She, of course, lightly browned Ben-Oni’s. Harry liked them almost done and ate them almost done. Faith was full and did not eat again, until lunch. They packed up the tent and swing and left. They bought some skunk smell free spray, for the sleeping bag. They contiued on, playing RPS tournaments and bought fireworks at the first stand that came in view.
They found a place to sleep and set up camp there, prayed and slept.
Chapter 5:The Third of July
They got up and ate crepes. It was Sunday. Because they wanted to get there on the 4th of July, they spent the whole day playing. As it was they were 3 miles away and could get there tomorrow near dinner time. Faith asked if she could say a speech. Faith started,’’When we started this trip everyone was sad and would not talk very much, but now everyone is glad and is filled with love and joy. Those are my middle names Love and Joy. God helped us through this time let’s thank Him.’’ So, The Dard’s Inventors knelt and thanked God. (And God is good isn’t he?) They also, sang the song,‘‘He is the Name above all names.’’ (And one of my favorites),‘‘Holy, Holy, Holy.’’ They also, played 20 questions (The Walton’s style). Ben-Oni was the one who always won at that. Then they took turns swinging on the swing that Harry had made earlier. They played the card games called:Crazy Eights, Bluff(I doubt it), Hearts, War, Slap Jack(Walton’s style),Rummy, Spoons(instead of spoons they used sticks), Well, that night they went to bed praising God. That was their 3rd of July, what was yours like?

Chapters 2-3 by Rebekah Walton
The Dard's Inventors Chapters 2-3
Chapter 2:Ben-Oni decides where to go
When they got to Faith’s home Julia was introduced to Ben-Oni, Harry, and Lavender. Then they invited Julia inside while they made some tea and told that when they got home they realized Faith wasn’t there they though she was ahead with Harry running but she wasn’t and just as they went to go find her, she came home with Julia. When Julia left, they made plans to leave to somewhere. Faith asked,‘‘Where are we going?’’ ‘‘Well, we don’t exactly know yet.’’ continued Lavender, ‘‘we don’t have any relatives…’’ But she was interrupted by Ben-Oni who said,‘‘Um, we…’’Then he looked at everyone and smiled and sort of grinned the sort of grin that tells you he knows something you don’t and won’t tell you and then stopped talking.‘‘Ahem, as I was saying we don’t have anywhere to go except to an orphanage and we won’t be taken there.’’ Said Lavender, not noticing Ben-Oni’s grin. Harry popped up with an answer,‘‘I know we can be like the Boxcar Children…’’ But before he could say anymore Faith said,‘‘I am sleepy, can I go to bed while decide where to go?’’‘‘Ok,’’said Ben-Oni. When Faith went to bed Harry contuied to tell his plan.‘‘But, Harry, we don’t have a grandfather and no boxcar.’’ replied Lavender. Ben-Oni thought for a moment, then shouted ‘‘Yahoo!’’ and got stared at by Harry who asked,‘‘What?’’‘‘I just thought of some place to go, nothing special.’’Said Ben-Oni.‘‘Uh…ummmmm….’’ stuttered Lavander.‘‘It’s some friend’s of mine house,’’He answered when Lavander said this.‘‘Oh, really?’’ questioned Harry somewhat suspicious. ‘‘Let’s wake Faith then pack, we’ll be there if we start tomorrow or tonight in two or so days.’ answered Ben-Oni to Harry. When they had woken Faith, they went on packing, for this trip to Ben-Oni’s friend. Before they knew it, they were done packing, all the supplies needed for the trip.
Chapter3 When they start the trip
The next morning as they started on their trip, they saw someone from the orphanage. So, they hid in a stack of hay on a wagon. The person passed without taking notice, just as they were ready to get out, they heard voices and footsteps coming closer so they kept hidden. The voices came nearer and nearer. Suddenly, the footsteps stopped. They almost cried ouch, when the voices and footsteps climbed aboard. They realized that this was the hayload for the cheerleaders, for today was the Fourth Of July parade. The Forth of July was next week. So, the voices and footsteps were of the cheerleaders who had climbed aboard. Now, they were going down the street with cheerleaders on top and they under the haystack. So they did not get anything done that day. Because by the time the parade was done the Dard’s had fallen asleep, and slept into the night. The next morning Faith was the first to wake up. She woke everyone else up and they started the trip. Ben-Oni carried Faith in a baby backpack and Harry and Lavender walked. They were able to do 14 miles that day and when they were all tired they looked for a place to rest. They came to the woods, and saw a big place where they could set up camp. Harry made a swing with the help of Faith and tied it to a tree. Or, should I say Harry did the work, Faith got him what he needed for the work. Anyway, when they were done and had put the swing up, Faith did not let Harry get on the swing until the next day, she instead she swang on it all day. Lavender and Ben-Oni set up the camp and put the sleeping bags in the tent. And they ate the cold food they brought for supper and went to bed.

The Dard's Inventors by Rebekah Walton
Attached to this is a story called the Dard's Inventors. I made the story. Every year or so I will attach the next chapter to this story.
Chapter 1:The Funeral
As they sang the last funeral hym:Amazing Grace, Faith Dard broke down crying again and couldn’t sing the last line of the song. Her father had just died yesterday evening right after supper. Faith was 3, and loved her father dearly. Having her mom die, when Faith was born she never knew her mother. Faith looked up at her sister Lavender, singing through her tears. When she left with Lavender,Harry, (her older brother) and Ben-Oni, (her oldest brother) she was crying so hard she didn’t notice where everyone was going and got lost. She thought of her mom’s pictures in her room, she looked like she would have been a good mom if she had stayed alive. Then she thought of her dad very kind in everything he did. She cried again and then she started singing,‘‘Amazing Grace! How sweet the sound! That saved a wretch like me!I once was lost,But now am foundWas blind but now I see.'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear. And grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appearThe hour I first believed!Through many dangers, toils and snaresI have already come.'Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,And grace will lead me home! The Lord has promised good to me,His word my hope secures; He will my shield and portion be,As long as life endures.Yes, when this flesh and heart shall fail,And mortal life shall cease;I shall possess within the vail,A life of joy and peace! The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,The sun forbear to shine; But God who called me here belowShall be forever mine!In evil long I took delightUnawed by shame or fear;'Til a new object met my sight,And stopped my wild career.I saw One hanging on a tree,In agonies and blood;Who fixed His languid eyes on meAs near His cross I stood.Sure, never 'til my latest breath,Can I forget that lookIt seemed to charge me with His deathThough not a word He spoke. My conscience owned and felt the guilt,And plunged me in despair;I saw my sins His blood had shed,And helped to nail Him there.Alas, I knew not what I did,But all my tears were vain;Where could my trembling soul be hid,For I the Lord had slain!Because he died upon the cross,He paid the price for me.He bought my soul for his glo-ry,And now he's set me free. The Lord has promised good to me, His Word my hope secures. He will my shield and portion be As long as life endures. And when this heart and flesh shall fail And mortal life shall cease, I shall possess within the veil A life of health and peace. When we've been there ten thousand years,Bright shining as the sun; We've no less days to sing God's praiseThan when we first begun! When she finished the song she heard music in the distance, it sounded like Amazing Grace the song she had just finshed singing except it sounded like another language, it went like this: O Miorbhail gràis! nach breagh'an ceòl; 'S e lorg mi 's mi air chall, Air seachdran dorch', gun neart, gun treòir, 'S a dh'fhosgail sùilean dall.'S e gràs thug eòlas dhomh air in'fheum; 'S e gràs thug saors'is sìth; 'S cha cheannaicheadh òr a' chruinne-chè Chiad-là bha fios nam chrìdh'.Tro iomadh cunnart's trioblaid chruaidh Thug E gu sàbhailt mi. An gràs a shaor bhon bhàs le buaidh Chan fhàg's cha trèig gu sìor.San dachaigh bhuan gun uair gun tìm, 'S deich mìle bliadhn' mar là, Cha sguir an ceòl's chan fhàs iad sgìth A'seiinn a chaoidh mun ghràs.When the voice got to ‘‘Chan fhàg's cha trèig gu sìor’’ Faith opened the door of a house the voice had come from and she saw a girl about 12 years old sitting at a piano and singing this song, or at least she would have been if she wasn’t staring at Faith. ‘‘Hello,’’ said Faith to the girl. Feasgur math! ( feskur ma )Good evening! Said the girl,‘‘Is mise S"leas ,I am Julia, Can I help you?Are you lost? ‘‘Yes, I am my name is Faith, Julia, and I lost my way.’’wispered Faith.Where do you live? Asked Julia. Faith told her the street name and Julia said she knew right where that was and how to get there from here. So they started off.
